I am an unsigned, unmanaged, unpublished artist who prides myself on reaching my biggest achievements independently.  Having been gigging around the UK and Europe since the age of 14, I decided to take a huge step and learn to manage my music career, with the motivation of achieving what the “chart-topping artists” were achieving without the huge budget or management team.  Subsequently, I have built a strong reputation for myself as an artist, learning about recording, releasing and marketing records, touring, collaborating, and more.

Recognition for my accomplishments in music began when I was awarded 'Performer of the Year' in 2013, aged just 18.  My success continued, receiving the 'Young Entrepreneur of the Year' award in 2018 as a reflection upon my impressive managerial skills, and then going on to place 2nd in the Best In Music Awards earlier this year.

I am a prolific performer, averaging 250-300 gigs every year. Some of my most notable performances include supporting X Factor winner, Matt Cardle, performing at the legendary Pinewood Studios, Liverpool’s Sound City festival, the Halliwell Jones Stadium, the AJ Bell Stadium, and Liverpool’s BT Convention Centre Arena.  I am also very proud of completing three successful UK tours, with my latest tour boasting a total of 24 dates with numerous sold-out shows around the country and sold-out merchandise on the first night alone.

Renowned sound engineer, John Delf (credits: James Arthur, Kylie Minogue, 5 Seconds of Summer, etc.), recognised my speedy success back when I was just a teenager, and approached me with an opportunity to help record my debut EP.  Alongside Mark Winterburn, the pair went on to co-produce my entire discography of three EPs and numerous singles, all of which were self-released. With each release, I built a strong reputation for myself amongst promoters, journalists, radio stations, and more.  As a result, I have received airplay on radios all across the globe, from Europe to Australia, I’ve reached #1 on the Tradiio Global Charts, and #1 on Round Sound Radio, a position I held for several weeks.  I have also received airplay and acknowledgement from various established UK stations, such as BBC Introducing and BBC Stoke.  Earlier this year, I received a four-page spread in The Guardian newspaper, celebrating the release of my two singles, ‘Until The Night Is Over’ and ‘Clear’, for which I collaborated with a small orchestra and choir.  The first music video reached an incredible 70,000 views on Facebook alone within its first two weeks of release, with the second closely following suit.
Being a full-time solo musician (without band members with which to split recording/marketing costs), funding support would hugely benefit my career, allowing me to maintain my current momentum following the success from my new singles and UK tour earlier this year.  Being at this pivotal point in my career, with interest from record labels, reputable journalists and music magazines, established radio stations internationally, and numerous upcoming musicians approaching me with interest in supporting me on my next tour, my biggest concern is that my current income won’t allow me to make this crucial investment, meaning it will cost me the opportunity to maintain this momentum I have built.

Adding a full album to my repertoire would impact my career immensely as not only will I have a new, tangible body of work to sell online and at live shows, but it will also enable me to promote the product to established record stores, where I can engage with new audiences. I recently achieved a contract to sell my latest EP in one HMV store, but an album would elevate my professional artist image and generate greater revenue as it will sell for a higher price; a crucial factor for a full-time musician who relies solely on income from music to sustain myself.

An album would also secure my position as a reputable act for record labels, journalists, promoters, festivals, etc.  Although a large repertoire of EPs and singles is impressive, I feel an album solidifies status as a serious musician who is committed to investing in their art.  With each record that I have released, my audience has grown.  Although I am proud of having accomplished this solely through my own promotion and marketing, I am confident that investing in professional PR would return much greater interest around the country, and even around the world, allowing me to continue touring, building up to increasingly larger venues.
