Episode 2 - Therapy & Seeking Professional Support

Our second episode is all about therapy, counselling and seeking professional help.

I am joined by Sarah Gregson, a full time artist who also hosts 'art for mental health' classes for vulnerable people. Together, we talk about the different types of professional support you can receive, and how each one can help you. We also talk about the difficulties and anxieties surrounding seeking professional support.

This episode's "ask-the-audience" includes questions such as "Have you ever sought professional support?", "What type of support did you seek?", "How straightforward did you find the process?", "Any tips/techniques from counselling/therapy that you found most beneficial?", and more. Thank you to everyone who voted in the polls and gave your feedback! Watch the full episode below:

What is your relationship with therapy and professional help? Have you found it beneficial? Do you have any helpful tips for anyone who might be considering seeking professional support? Let us know in the comments! Thank you so much for tuning in to the first episode of my brand new podcast. I hope you've enjoyed it! In the next episode, I'll be joined by Laura Teare-Jones and together we'll be talking all about hormones vs mental health, which, according to our poll results, affects a lot more people than we realise!

See you next week! Much love, Sam
