Our sixth episode is all about coping with difficult experiences and issues through the means of creativity and artistic activity, whether that's journaling, writing poetry, creating art, composing music, building things, or more.
We also discuss how to navigate periods of feeling uninspired and unmotivated and how to deal with a general lack of creativity.
This week, I am joined by Aleksandra Zak, all the way in Poland, for our first remote session of the series! Aleksandra is a writer and has worked on novels, short stories, poetry and more.
This episode's "ask-the-audience" includes questions such as "Which form of creative expression do you find most helpful when you're feeling low?", "Which difficulty do you most commonly encounter with creative coping?", "Are there are particular creative methods or mediums that you practise which you'd like to share?" and more. Thank you to everyone who voted in the polls and gave your feedback!

Do you find creative coping to be a helpful strategy for you in negative situations? What difficulties do you encounter with trying to maintain your creativity? Do you have any helpful tips for others who might be struggling to find the right creative avenue for them, or are perhaps struggling with a lack of artistic inspiration? Let us know in the comments! Thank you so much for tuning in to another episode! Just a little update regarding the frequency of episodes in this coming year; episodes will now be released on the last Friday of every month (as opposed to weekly, as previously). Stay tuned, and see you soon! Much love, Sam
